These are the wear parts at the swingarm pivot, and they are meant to be consumed. Talaria's guidance is replacement every 50-100 hours of hard riding, or sooner if you can feel play by hand with the rear wheel off the ground. Trail and motocross use burns through them faster; commuting can stretch the interval well past 200 hours.

The reason to stay ahead of it is cost. Worn bushings let the pivot shaft work against the swingarm bores, and once those bores are ovalled the repair moves from a bushing set to a complete swingarm. Symptoms to watch for are vagueness or slight lateral play at the rear under hard cornering or wheel side-load.

They pair with swingarm SKU 1557 for a full pivot service — if the swingarm is out for any reason, change the bushings while it is on the bench. Work is moderate once the arm is removed and takes about 30 minutes with a bushing press, a puller and lithium grease: press the old ones out from the centre, press the new ones in dry, then grease the pivot shaft before reassembly.
