Talaria wheels and tires — matching rubber to how you ride
Wheels change the character of an electric dirt bike more than almost any other component, because they alter unsprung weight, gearing feel and grip all at once. What you fit should follow where you actually ride.
Off-road: 18/21
The standard dirt configuration — a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear — is what the bikes are designed around and what works on loose ground, roots and rock. We stock complete 18/21 wheel sets, KKE 21/18 sets in all-black for the Sting MX3, and individual front rim assemblies in 19 x 1.40 and CNC-machined rear rims in 16 x 1.85 for riders rebuilding rather than replacing.
Supermoto: 17-inch
A 17-inch supermoto wheel set drops the bike, puts a much larger contact patch on tarmac and turns a Sting MX4 or X3 into something genuinely quick on pavement. It is the most transformative single change you can make to a Talaria that spends its life on hard surfaces — and it is a straightforward bolt-on with the right set.
Trials rubber
Shinko SR241 trials tires trade outright bite in mud for enormous mechanical grip on rock, roots and hardpack, and they run quieter. For technical low-speed riding on a Talaria or Sur-Ron they are the tire most experienced riders end up on.
Snow
The Track N Go system converts a Sting MX3 or MX4 to tracks for winter riding. It is a serious piece of hardware rather than an accessory, and it opens up a season the bike would otherwise sit out.
Hubs, spokes and small parts
Front wheel hubs for TL45, Sting and Sting R, and Lextek 190 mm spoke wraps in 20-piece sets — cosmetic, but they also keep spoke nipples cleaner and make a loose spoke easier to spot.
