Matched pair of 17-inch rims, front and rear, that moves a Sting R MX4 (TL4000) or X3 / xXx (TL2500) off dirt-bike wheel sizes and onto supermoto street geometry.
Dropping to matched 17-inch rims is the usual route to a road-biased Talaria. The smaller diameter sharpens turn-in and opens the door to street-compound and dual-sport tires that work far better on pavement than off-road knobbies. The set is supplied as a complete wheel pair.
Direct fitment covers the Sting R MX4 (TL4000) and the X3 / xXx (TL2500). The Sting MX3 may work subject to hub-spec verification — check with your installer first. The MX5 Pro, Komodo and Dragon use different chassis geometry and are not compatible.
Installation is moderate in difficulty and takes roughly 60-90 minutes, needing an axle wrench, a torque wrench, and tire irons if you are mounting rubber at the same time. The conversion drops the bike about 50 mm at the wheel, so reset suspension preload afterwards to restore correct sag. Two other consequences worth planning for: the smaller rolling circumference makes the speedometer read high by roughly 5-7% unless you recalibrate through the dashboard menu, and off-road capability drops noticeably — ground clearance is lower and street tread does not bite in dirt. Many owners keep both sets and swap by season.
