The stock Sting fork runs fixed damping, which means the front end is set up for an average rider on average ground. External clickers here cover both compression and rebound, so the fork can be matched to your weight and to what you are actually riding. It uses the factory steerer and axle dimensions, making it a direct replacement rather than a conversion. Reference OE number is 155200166.

Fitment is confirmed for Sting 4000, Sting Offroad, Sting Onroad and Sting R Road Legal. The MX5 Pro and Komodo run different fork geometry and are not covered. Depending on stock, the fork is supplied with a yoke fitted.

This is an advanced install at 90-120 minutes and involves stripping the front end: bars removed, the brake line clip freed, the wheel out and the old fork pulled from the yokes. You will want a torque wrench, a full hex key set and a fork-cap tool. Set both clickers to mid-range for the first ride, then work outward: softer on rocky ground, firmer for jump landings, a couple of clicks at a time. Riders commonly settle between 8-14 clicks of compression and 6-10 of rebound depending on weight.
