Rather than a bare motor core, this is the whole sub-assembly: motor, mounting hardware and factory-fitted pigtails, supplied as a single tested unit. It is the part to order after a catastrophic motor failure, water immersion or a thermal burnout on a Sting.
The argument for the complete assembly over a core is risk. Every connection point is made and tested at the factory, so there is no reassembly step where a bracket, seal or connector can be misfitted, and the swap goes back together faster. A core makes sense only when the existing bracket and pigtails are genuinely serviceable. Primary fitment is the Sting Offroad (TL3000), on the 60 V system, with 6-8 kW peak output.
Installation is advanced and worth handing to a shop. Allow two to three hours with a torque wrench, hex keys, a motor puller and a connector kit. Disconnect the battery first, match the phase wires by colour code, and verify motor operation on the stand before fitting the drive chain. A 12-month manufacturer warranty covers manufacturing defects, so it is worth checking whether an existing claim applies before buying outright.
