This is the whole 72 V conversion in one box rather than a controller and a battery bought separately and hoped to agree with each other. The bundle covers the EBMX removable aftermarket lithium pack at 72V 57Ah, the BAC8000 motor controller upgrade kit, and the matching EBMX 72 V charger with a three-pin plug, at 57 A, under OE reference 930312006. The pack runs a BMS with cell balancing.
Against the stock arrangement, EBMX rates the pack at 150% more energy stored, which is the figure that drives ride time. Because the controller and charger come from the same kit, the voltage, current rating and charging behaviour are specified together rather than assembled by guesswork.
Fitment is the TL3000, TL4000, TL45 and TL50. The install is advanced work — EBMX puts it at 3 to 5 hours for an experienced mechanic — and it changes the bike's powertrain from the factory 60 V architecture, with the warranty implications that follow from any aftermarket powertrain conversion.
