Rear Brake Master Cylinder for Sting

Original price was: $49.99.Current price is: $39.99.

OEM rear brake master cylinder for the Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000), operated by the foot pedal and mounted to the factory pedal-side bracket. Runs DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid.

SKU: TAL-FRA-005 Category:

The rear circuit on the Sting Offroad (TL3000) is driven from the foot pedal through this master cylinder, which converts pedal travel into hydraulic pressure at the rear caliper. It mounts on the factory pedal-side bracket as a direct replacement.

A rear brake that has gone long and soft, or that needs pumping to build pressure, is usually reporting worn bore seals rather than air in the line. Fresh fluid will not restore a cylinder that has passed that point.

Rate the job moderate and allow around 60 minutes including the bleed. Use DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid, bleed the circuit fully once the system has been opened, and set pedal free play afterwards — roughly 5 to 10 mm is the usual target — so the pedal is not resting against the pushrod and dragging the brake.
