Display/Speedometer for Sting R

This is the factory dashboard assembly for the Sting R series, supplied as a direct replacement. The connector matches the factory harness, so it is a plug-in swap rather than a wiring job. The unit reports mode and regen level alongside speed, charge state, distance and any active fault code.

It fits three trims: the MX4 (TL4000), the Road Legal (TL50) and the Off Road. It does not fit the MX5 Pro or the Komodo — both of those use TFT colour dashes with different hardware.

Most units are replaced for one of two reasons: impact damage from rocks or branches, or water ingress at the rubber boot. If it is the latter, inspect and reseat the seal before fitting the new display, otherwise the replacement will fail the same way. Installation is straightforward — hex keys, 15-20 minutes, battery disconnected first. Test the display before you refit any plastics, and note your mileage beforehand, since a new module may not carry the stored odometer reading across.
