60V 12A charger with a 3-pin AC plug for 60V Sting trims (TL3000, TL4000, TL45, TL50), cutting charge time on a 45Ah pack to roughly 2.5-3 hours against about 6 hours on the 6A stock unit.
Doubling charge current is the simplest way to shorten downtime between rides. This unit outputs 60 V on a standard CC/CV curve at 12 A, which brings a 45Ah pack from empty to full in roughly 2.5-3 hours instead of the approximately 6 hours a 6A charger takes. BMS communication is automatic, so the pack terminates the charge itself.
Compatibility covers the Sting Onroad (TL45) and Sting Offroad (TL3000) as a direct OEM-grade replacement, and the Sting 4000 (TL4000) and Sting R Road Legal (TL50) subject to a connector check. It is a 60V charger only — 72V packs need a 72V unit, and using this one on a 72V pack will neither complete the charge nor do the BMS any favours.
Use is plug-and-play: no tools, under a minute. Check the 12A rating on the charger label before the first use, and if the circuit breaker trips, move to a different circuit that can carry the draw. Worth knowing that faster charging is not entirely free — sustained higher-rate charging shortens pack life somewhat compared with a slower charge, which most riders accept for the time saved.
