OEM handlebar-mounted front brake master cylinder for the Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000), matched to the 2-piston front caliper (SKU 1632). Runs DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid.
The master cylinder turns lever effort into hydraulic pressure at the caliper, and its bore diameter has to match the volume the caliper needs. This one is the factory part for the Sting Offroad (TL3000) and pairs with the 2-piston front caliper, SKU 1632.
It is not interchangeable with the TL45 unit, which uses a different bore. Cross-fitting the two leaves a lever that still feels soft after a clean bleed, so order against the model code stamped on the bike.
Bore seals wear gradually, which is why a front brake that has gone vague over a season often does not come back with fresh fluid alone. Replacing the cylinder is the fix. Set aside about an hour including a full bleed, and work with DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid — never DOT 5, which is silicone-based and attacks these seals.
