Front Sprocket 14T for TL45, Sting, Sting R, X3 MX

The 14-tooth count is the factory specification at the gearbox output, and the 420 pitch matches the stock chain, so this is the part to fit when the original sprocket has worn or when you are returning a modified bike to standard gearing.

It is also the cheapest lever available for changing how the bike delivers power. Fewer teeth at the front shortens the gearing and sharpens acceleration at the cost of top speed; more teeth do the reverse. Riders tuning for tight technical ground and riders tuning for open trail usually end up in different places, and the sprocket is where that decision gets made.

Fitment covers the TL3000, TL45, TL50 and X3 MX.

The install is easy: 15 to 20 minutes with a sprocket-bolt wrench and a torque wrench. Slip the chain off, swap the sprocket, torque to the service manual figure and reset chain tension before riding.
