TALARIA STING MX3
Price range: $2,599.00 through $2,699.00
Entry point into the 60V Sting platform: an air-cooled PMSM mid-drive rated 3 kW nominal and 6 kW peak, fed by a removable 60V / 38.4Ah (2,304 Wh) LG 21700 pack, with top speed electronically limited to 47+ mph (75+ km/h).
The Sting MX3 (model code TL3000) is where the Sting family starts. Power comes from an air-cooled permanent-magnet synchronous mid-drive putting out 6 kW peak against a 3 kW nominal rating, run through a FOC sine-wave controller. Drive is an internal gearbox into chain, which nets 284 N·m at the rear wheel on the 44T sprocket.
Energy storage is a removable 60V / 38.4Ah pack built on LG 21700 5000mAh cells — 2,304 Wh, roughly 12.85 kg (28.3 lb) on its own. Expect up to 44 mi (70 km) of mixed riding, or 62 mi (100 km) if you hold a 20 mph cruise. Four levels of adjustable regen let you dial in how much the bike slows on a closed throttle, and an OLED dash reports the numbers.
Chassis-wise it runs a 19-inch spoked front and 17-inch spoked rear on knobby dirt rubber, an inverted fork up front, and a DNM mono shock (2024 and later) with preload and damping adjustment at both ends. Braking is hydraulic disc with 4-piston calipers. Seat height sits around 860 mm (33.9 in), rider weight limit is roughly 100 kg (220 lb), and the bike weighs about 56 kg (123 lb) without the pack, ~68.5 kg (151 lb) with it.
Offered in STING MX off-road and STING L1E trim, in All Black, Black or Green — confirm registration requirements with your local authority before choosing. Stock ships from China with regional warehouse support, typically arriving in 3-5 business days, and carries a 12-month manufacturer warranty.

Before you buy
- How fast does the Talaria Sting MX3 go?
- The MX3 is electronically limited to 47+ mph (75+ km/h). It runs the 60V Sting platform with a PMSM mid-drive making 6 kW peak through a sealed reduction gearbox.
- Is the Sting MX3 a good first electric dirt bike?
- It is the entry point to the range and the one we recommend most often to riders moving across from trail or trials machines. Four levels of adjustable regen and a controller tuned conservatively make it forgiving to learn on, and it is roughly 35–40% lighter than a comparable 250cc petrol bike.
- How long does the battery take to charge?
- On the 12A fast charger, roughly 2.5–3 hours. The pack is removable, so it charges indoors and swaps out in under two minutes with the key.
- Is the Sting MX3 road legal?
- This trim is off-road. If you need plates, the Sting is also built in road-legal L1E and L3E versions that ship with registration paperwork.
