Hall Effect Sensor for TL45 and Sting
Original price was: $49.99.$39.99Current price is: $39.99.
OEM Hall effect throttle-position sensor for the Talaria Sting Offroad (TL3000) and Sting Onroad (TL45), converting grip rotation into a variable voltage signal to the controller.
This is the factory throttle pickup. It reads rotation at the grip magnetically and sends the controller a variable voltage that scales with rider input. Because nothing physically wipes across a track, a Hall sensor avoids the contact wear that eventually kills potentiometer-based throttles — but it is still a failure point, and when it goes the symptoms are unmistakable: dead throttle with the battery on, power that keeps running after the grip is released, or acceleration that surges and drops.
Diagnosis is straightforward with a multimeter. Sensor output should sweep cleanly from around 0.8 V at rest up to about 4 V at full throttle; a jump, dropout or flat spot in that sweep points at the sensor.
Direct OEM fitment is confirmed for TL3000 and TL45. On a Sting R MX4 (TL4000), verify connector pinout with your installer first. Most EBMX X-9000 installs run the stock Talaria sensor unchanged, though some V2 X-9000 configurations call for an EBMX-specific unit — check before ordering. Fitting is easy: 15-20 minutes with hex keys. Disconnect the battery, unplug the old sensor, fit the new one, and test throttle response with the bike on a stand before riding.
