Manitou Dorado Comp dual-crown air-spring fork with single-circuit damping, the entry tier of the Dorado family. Bolts to the Talaria Sting R MX4 (TL4000) as a direct upgrade from stock RST or FastAce hardware.
The Dorado Comp shares its dual-crown air-spring chassis with the Dorado Expert but simplifies the internals to a single damping circuit rather than separate compression and rebound clickers. That makes it the pick for riders who want Dorado geometry and air-spring tuning without paying for adjustment they will never dial in.
On the Talaria side, the primary fitment is the Sting R MX4 (TL4000), where it goes on as a direct upgrade with a Dorado yoke. Sting Offroad (TL3000) owners should have yoke compatibility checked by their installer before ordering. The MX5 Pro runs a Talaria-spec fork and is not a fit, and the X3, Komodo and Dragon use different fork mount geometry.
Installation is an advanced job: front end apart, old fork out, Dorado in with the matching yoke set, budget two to three hours with a torque wrench, hex keys, a soft-jaw vice and a shock pump. Air pressure is set to rider weight using Manitou's chart in the Dorado service manual. Anyone converting from an RST or FastAce front end needs to source the Dorado-spec yoke separately, as the fork will not mount without it.
