72V 42Ah Battery for Talaria Sting MX3 & MX4 | EWATT

EWATT builds this pack in the Talaria Sting MX3 and MX4 form factor, so it sits in the factory battery bay without fabrication. At 72 V and 42 Ah it stores roughly 3,024 Wh and carries an integrated BMS for cell balancing, making it a step up in both voltage and capacity from the 60 V stock pack.

Fitment is confirmed on the Sting MX3 and Sting R MX4 (TL4000). Sting Onroad (TL45) owners should verify the connector match with their installer. It is not a Sur-Ron part, and it will not work behind a stock 60 V controller.

Two supporting parts decide whether this upgrade is viable. The bike needs a 72 V controller already fitted before the pack goes in, since the factory 60 V unit cannot take 72 V input, and it needs a 72 V charger, as the stock Talaria charger cannot charge this battery. If the controller is already in place, this is the battery-only route to 72 V; if nothing has been converted yet, a complete kit with controller and charger is the more coherent buy.

Plan on 60 to 90 minutes for an advanced-level install with insulated hex keys, a multimeter and dielectric grease, starting with the stock battery disconnected. Note that a 72 V conversion is an aftermarket modification and voids the Talaria factory warranty on the bike.
