TALARIA STING ROAD LEGAL L1E (60V-38.4Ah)
Original price was: $3,199.00.$2,599.00Current price is: $2,599.00.
Sting chassis homologated to L1e (moped equivalent), with a ~30 mph (48 km/h) limited legal top speed, 47+ mph (75+ km/h) capability unrestricted, a quick-swap 60V / 38.4Ah LG 21700 pack and IP67-rated electrics.
This version of the Sting leaves the factory carrying L1e homologation — the moped-equivalent classification — and the equipment that goes with it: a full lighting system with headlight, taillight, brake light and indicators, plus mirrors, a horn and a number plate holder. Registration rules differ by jurisdiction, so check what your local authority accepts before ordering.
Under the bodywork is a permanent magnet synchronous motor rated 3,000 W continuous and 6,000 W peak, making 34 N·m at the shaft and 284 N·m at the rear wheel through the 44T sprocket and chain drive. In L1e configuration the speed is held to about 30 mph (48 km/h); the hardware itself is capable of 47+ mph (75+ km/h). Ride modes are typically Eco and Sport.
The 60V / 38.4Ah LG 21700 pack is quick-swap removable and takes roughly 3.5 hours to charge. Battery and electrical system are rated IP67. The frame is 6061 aluminum alloy, curb weight is 58 kg (128 lb) and maximum load is 100 kg (220 lb).
Geometry is unchanged Sting: 840 mm (33.1 in) seat height, 1,250 mm (49.2 in) wheelbase, 310 mm (12.2 in) of ground clearance, 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and a multi-function OLED dash. Sold in Gold.

Before you buy
- Is this Talaria road legal?
- Yes. This is the homologated L1E trim and it ships with the registration paperwork for its vehicle class, so it can be plated and ridden on the road where L1E is recognised.
- How fast is the road-legal L1E?
- Around 30 mph. L1E is a speed-limited vehicle class, and the limit is what makes the homologation valid — removing it makes the bike no longer road legal.
- What is the difference between L1E and L3E?
- L1E is the lower-powered, speed-limited class at around 30 mph. L3E is the higher class with fewer restrictions. Which one suits you depends on your licence and your country’s rules.
- Can I still ride it off road?
- Yes. It is the same 60V Sting platform underneath, with a 38.4Ah removable pack, 4-piston hydraulic brakes and a forged 6061-T6 aluminium frame.
