Brake rotors are thin, exposed and easy to bend permanently on a single rock edge or a branch caught in tight singletrack. This billet aluminium guard bolts to the caliper-mount bracket and shields the disc from that kind of strike. The finish is red anodised, which reads well against black wheels.
Specify front or rear at the time of order — the guard is position-specific. Riders who do a lot of trail work commonly run one at each end, since the rear tends to collect debris thrown up by the wheel while the front takes direct strikes. A black variant combined with a caliper mount is available as SKU 1680.
Listed fitment is TL3000, TL4000, TL45, TL50, TL2500 and TL25. The install is easy: 15-20 minutes with hex keys and a torque wrench. Torque to Talaria service-manual spec and check clearance between the guard and the rotor afterwards — keep a minimum of 2-3 mm so nothing rubs.
