The Competizione 50s is a purpose-built competition version of the MX5 Pro, not a stock bike with parts added. The battery is 82V (81.4V nominal) and 4,060 Wh, assembled from 220 Samsung 50S 21700 cells, rated to 400A peak discharge and supplied with a 6A, 92.4V fast charger. A Bluetooth-enabled BMS reports cell-level data.
Driving it is a high-efficiency IPM motor quoted at 95% efficiency, controlled by a custom-tuned EBMX X9000 V2 and rated 21 kW peak against 22 kW continuous. Estimated top speed is around 70 mph (113 km/h). Power reaches the ground through a reinforced gearbox and a 428 heavy-duty chain on a 48T rear sprocket.
The chassis is reinforced aluminum alloy with a reinforced swingarm, and estimated weight is roughly 50 kg (110 lb). Braking uses oversized MX calipers on 3 mm thick rotors at both ends, running DOT 3/4 fluid. Wheels are CNC machined with straight-pull spokes.
Rider interface is an EBMX SW102 display on custom firmware, with a variable regen thumb throttle. Bodywork is exclusive carbon-effect fenders and custom wings. Note that competition builds carry their own build-specific terms rather than the standard warranty — read the paperwork supplied with the machine.
