This is the OEM chain for the Sting secondary drive: 420 pitch, 106 links, steel, black finish, carrying OE reference 110100126. Dimensionally it matches the budget Lextek 420-106 chain, but the OEM part is specified for longer service life under heavy use, which is where the price difference goes.
Chain wear is the drivetrain's clock. Check stretch with a wear gauge at regular intervals and replace at the manufacturer's wear limit rather than waiting for the slack to become obvious. Before fitting anything new, look hard at the sprocket teeth — a hooked profile will chew through a fresh chain quickly, and both should be replaced together at that point.
The job needs a chain tool and either a master link or a breaker link, and runs 30 to 45 minutes at moderate difficulty.
