Lextek spoke wraps in 190 mm length, 20 pieces per set, moulded in fuel-resistant UV-stable plastic. Slit down one side for slide-on fitting and trimmable to length.
A cosmetic upgrade that costs almost nothing in time or tools. Each wrap is slit along one side, so it opens over the spoke and pushes into place without adhesive, and the 190 mm length covers most standard motorcycle spoke runs. The plastic is fuel-resistant and UV-stable, which is what keeps it from going chalky or brittle after a season outdoors. Several colours are available.
Fitment is universal to standard motorcycle spokes rather than model-specific. That covers the Sting series on stock wheels, X3 and XXX, Komodo and Dragon, the Sur-Ron Light Bee, and 18/21 conversion wheel sets built on standard spokes. Spokes shorter than 190 mm are handled by trimming the wraps with side cutters. The MX5 Pro's CNC wheels may use shorter spokes, so measure or check with an installer first.
Fitting takes 15 to 30 minutes per wheel and needs no tools beyond side cutters if trimming is required. Work each wrap on from the rim inward; the plastic holds itself in position once seated. Compared with stripping and powder-coating a set of spokes, it is the cheap way to change how a wheel reads.
