Pressed steel pedals bend. This one is machined from billet aluminium and anodised black, which gives it more stiffness under a boot and a better chance of surviving a rock strike or a lay-down intact.

The tip carries an aggressive grip pattern, so wet boots and muddy soles have something to key into instead of sliding off mid-corner. Fitment covers six models: TL3000, TL4000, TL45, TL50, TL2500 and TL25.

Allow about 30 minutes at moderate difficulty. Once it is bolted on, reset the brake free play — around 5 to 10 mm — so the pedal is not preloading the master cylinder.
