The X3 (TL2500) is the bike that turns curious riders into owners: about $2,000 buys a genuine 47 mph machine with a 2.4 kWh removable LG-cell battery at a weight — 125 lb — that nothing with comparable specs approaches. The experience
The X3’s genius is approachability. The low seat and 125 lb mass make it the least intimidating real motorcycle we have ever stocked — new riders are confidently sliding it around within a weekend — while the 6 kW motor and 47 mph ceiling keep it entertaining long after the skills arrive. Six-month owners consistently report the same two things: they ride far more often than they expected (charging from a wall socket removes every excuse), and the battery range exceeds their actual outings.
Where the price shows
Three places, none disqualifying. The suspension is budget-tier: fine for trails, out of depth on jumps and hard hits — upgrades exist in the suspension range when you outgrow it. The drivetrain is conventional rather than the Sting’s sealed gearbox, so it gives up the MX3’s 284 N·m low-end multiplication — the trade is analyzed in the MX3 review. And the ergonomics favor average and shorter riders; six-footers fit but look forward to a Sting.
The XXX editions
The XXX Pro, Black and Red editions dress the same platform in special-edition trim from about $2,100–$2,200 — the Pro is notable for being the lightest bike in the whole range at 117 lb. Performance is identical; pick on price and looks.
